Tumblr

Just to let everyone know, I'll probably just abandon this blog, as no-one really reads it, and i find it really time consuming... (time is not something i have a lot of...)
Instead, ive made myself a Tumblr, which I use every day, so i'll be posting there :)

My tumblr is EmmLanchh

Best Dressed at the Golden Globes

I watched the Golden Globes' red carpet, but I didn;t watch the ceremony, purely because, and this is going to sound shallow, I only care how everyone looks! I'm sorry if there is a hugeee list of people... i have a feeling this might be a long blog post!
Here are who I think were the best dressed:

Anne Hathaway
I really loved Anne's Armani Prive gown. The dress had all over sequins, but I didn't think it was too OTT, which was good! I am a huge fan of Annes and I think she looks flawless and amazing!

Olivia Wilde

You have no idea how much I want Olivia's Marchessa gown! It is amazing, and she looks gorgous! I think that her gown really suits her shape and complexion. LOVE LOVE LOVEEE!

Scarlett Johansson

I had to include Scarlett, purely because she is wearing my favourite designer EVER, Elie Saab! This dress is so pretty and I adore all the detailling.

January Jones

Some people may think that January is bearing too much flesh, and I dont normally like dresses like this, but I have to say that I love January's Versace dress... Saying that, I would never wear this myself!

Jenifer Love Hewitt
As soon as i saw Jenifer's dress/look, I tweeted about it straight away! i love her dress and her hair!! The Romona Keveza dress is such a classic!
Thats all for now, I may update the post a little later on, as this has taken me ages to do! (Formatting the pictures take forever!)

REVIEW:- M.A.C Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme d'Nude

If you've read my haul post, you'll know that I recently purchased a Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme d'Nude from M.A.C. I've waited a week to post the review, as I wanted to be sure of my opinions on it before I told you all!

Creme d'Nude is describes as a 'pale muted peach biege' by M.A.C. I agree with this, although I would have described it as a 'pale pink nude', but then again I'm not great with colours!

Creme d'Nude is very creamy, soft lipstick. It also has a bit of a gloss to it and great colour payoff! :) It usually last me a few hours, and fades nicely :)

Here are some pictures of Creme d'Nude on the lips :)

MAC Wishlist

Ive only just started buying at MAC, but I already want loads! IIf any of you have any suggestions of anything else to suggest to get, I'd appriciate it if you commented and told me :)

1. Special Reserve Highlight Powder in Rose Ole (Cham Pale collection)
This looks sooo pretty, and I would really like a nice highlighter :)

2. Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15 + Lavender in Calm Rose (Cham Pale collection)
This smells sooo amazing, and the colour is gorgeous too! For some strange reason it isnt on the UK website, but its instore.... Strangeee :s (the link is to the US site, incase you wanted to see the product)

3. Paint Pot in Bare Study or Painterly
I think these would make a great base :)

4. Beauty Powder
I think I would be able to use as a highlight and blush, if I got the right colour :)

HAUL:- Lush, Gilly Hicks & MAC

Hi girls! :)

So today I went to Westfields in London to get a few things. I love it there, its such a nice place to shop! Plus it has a few shops there that are hardly anywhere else (well, near me anyway!).

I visited the MAC there as its the nearest one (apart from the one in Selfridges, but that ones always so busy).

I got two things, a lipstick and one of their mineralize skinfinish natural powders :)

The lipstick is a cremesheen and is in the colour CREME D'NUDE - MAC describes it a pale muted peach beige.... personally I'd describe it as a nude pink, but I'm not great with colours!

I havent actually worn it yet, but I'll try and edit this post when I have, to let you know what its like (this should be after the weekend)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got the mineralize skinfinish natural powder because everyone raves about how its really good at setting your makeup. To be honest, Igot a bit overwhelmed, and I had to leave , so I grabbed what I knew I would use and what was worth getting.

I also visited Lush, as I knew I wanted to get something to sort out my dry, flaky lips (gross, I know!). I quickly decided I wanted a scrub and chose the scent.

I got the lip scrub in MINT JULIPS. This flavour is peppermint and chocolate; very lush!! Smells so gorgeous, so yummy! The smell is quite storng, as i have it sitting at the end of the desk right now with the lid off, and I can smell it really clearly. Tastes good too!

I then visted Gilly Hicks, which is the only one in the UK. They describe as "the cheeky cousin of Abercrombie and Fitch". This actually describes the store very well, it is a bit cheaper than abercrombie, and focuses more on the underwear side of the label, but I still love the clothes!

I purchased one of their classic shirts... Not sure which one it is on the website... Its either the ZETLAND or HAWKESBERRY RIVER. They havent got the colour I got on there either... Weird....
So anyway, I might do a review of the MAC stuff I got, or the Lush stuff I got... Still not sure...

Thanks for reading!

REVIEW:- GOSH Natural Touch Foundation

"GOSH Natural Touch Foundation is an amazing light foundation. The mineral pigments unify your skinton and gives you a natural and perfect look. The texture is lightwieght, soft and effective. It is almost invisable on the skin but still gives you what you expect from a foundation - a natural and flawless finish. It diminishes facial imperfections while the organic sweet almond oil moisturises and nourishes your skin. Vitamin A+E reduce the formation of free radicals. SPF 8."

^^On the back of the bottle^^

I bought this foundation from Superdrug when my Benefit foundation had run out as something to tire me over until I could get to MAC and purchase a foundation from MAC. This was two months ago, and no such foundation has been purchased, mainly beacause this one is doing such a good job!!
It is kinda easy to apply (I have always used a foundation brush) and gives good coverage even though the consitancy is a slightly watery one. The one thing I am not very keen on it the staying power. Some days it will stay all day, yet others I will be re-applying at lunch.... mystery!!
